Son's Guadalupe is located riverside on River Road in New Braunfels, TX.  Our address is 7308 River Rd, New Braunfels, TX 78132.   We are located about 7 miles from loop 337 or 1/2 mile past the second crossing on the right hand side near the Lone Star Float House. 

We are open 24 hours everyday during the summer season.  Riverside Covered Picnic Tables Rentals are from: 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM daily, All-Inclusive Tent Camping: 3:30 PM - 11:00 AM.  Tubing & Kayaking shuttle is from 10:30 AM - 5:00 PM on most days, on days with rain forecasted or low occupancy, our shuttles may not run though we will help you find and schedule with another company if necessary.  See our Contact page for exact dates and hours. 

Yes, with hundreds of tubes and brand-new shuttle vans we can get you on the river and having fun in no time! We are blessed to have THE BEST FLOAT on all the Guadalupe! Even when the river is low, our section of the river is great for tubing as there is a good slope and a constant flow of water!  

Not for tubing but it is best to have a reservation for Cabanas, In-water Covered Picnic Table  rentals and Glamping, as we wouldn’t want you to get here and we don’t have any available for you. If that were to happen though, you could always still tube. 

The price varies depending on the day of week and season.   During the summer, on average the prices for Cabanas are around $179 Mon - Fri, $245 on most Saturdays and Sundays and includes entry for up to 8 people and parking for 1 car.   For in-water covered picnic tables, during the summer, on average the prices are $94 Mon - Fri, $149 on Saturdays and $128 on Sundays. Price includes entry for 6 people.  Up to 8 can be at a picnic table at an additional cost per person $20 Mon - Fri & $25 on Sat and Sundays.  Parking for 1 vehicle is included with a Covered Picnic table rental. Additional car parking is:  $25 Mon - Fri, $25 Sat & Sun. 

Cabana Rentals include:  Every cabana has: a picnic table, lounge chairs, a BBQ pit, comfortable seating, running water and electricity, a bar top table and stools.  Cabana rental fee includes entry for up to 8 people, though you may have a maximum of 15 people per cabana at an additional cost per person. 

In-water covered picnic tables include: Your own, private In-water Covered Picnic Table with access for 6 to Son's Guadalupe property from 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM and parking for 1 vehicle.  Rental includes: picnic table and canopy! BBQ pits are available for use nearby. 

We charge $25 per tube + tax.  Shuttles are $5 per person. $20 per person if you bring your own tube/s. 

Depending on the flow of the river, approximately 2-4 hours.  You can go multiple times if you like.  Tube rentals are good for all day but you must pay a shuttle fee each trip.

No, Son's Guadalupe is located outside the city limits of New Braunfels on River Road. The laws do not apply to us,though you can not have glass, Styrofoam or 5 oz containers or smaller (Jello Shots) on the river. 

All our float trips take you up river to different drop off points along the river depending on how long you want to float and the water flow at the time.  Average floats take  2 - 4 hours depending on the river level.

All of our float trips end up at Son's Guadalupe. So when you are done with your fun float down the beautiful Guadalupe River, your vehicle is there waiting for you and you don't have to wait on someone to come get you or wait in line for hours to get a shuttle back to where you started. 

We recommend all children under the age of 16 and weak swimmers wear a life jacket when tubing. 

Yes, we have a 5 stall private bathroom trailer with showers.

Yes, we have changing rooms located on the property.  

We sell ice onsite but there are gas stations on either end of River Road.

 -More than 15 days notice prior to the booking date: 90% refund or credit 

-Between 7 and 14 days prior to the booking date: 50% refund or credit

-Less than 7 days notice prior to the booking date: No refund or credit

-Same day reservation - no refund will be given (less than 7 days)

Rain-checks are made available at our discretion though typically made only if it is raining hard enough during your reservation stay, for the majority of the time to prohibit the use of activities. Rain-check amounts will be for the exact dollar amount of the original reservation. Any credit will not be refunded and any difference must be paid. 

Absolutely no glass, fireworks, loud music, pets; please refer to our rental agreement for full list of restrictions. 

Glamorous + Camping! We provide and set up a 16' bell tent, stand up air-conditioner, 2 high powered fans, 2 queen beds with foam mattresses, 1 twin bed with foam mattresses, side tables, light, electricity & water.   You get to have all the fun of camping without the hassle! 

 We do all the setup while you have all the fun!  All Inclusive Tent Camping includes:  

• Overnight entry for 5 people and a tent setup which includes: a 16′ bell tent,  stand up air-conditioner, 2 high powered fans, two queen sized bedframes with 6" foam mattresses, 1 twin bed with foam mattresses, side tables and a lantern. 
• A charcoal bbq pit, picnic table, electrical outlets, 
• Running water and light at your site.
• Evening, overnight and morning use of a cabana 

*Note: Sheets, blankets and pillow are not provided, you are responsible for bringing these. 

Yes, we have bathrooms as well as showers with hot water.

No, tent rental are from 3:30 PM to 11:00 AM. you may not come early or stay late unless you rented a Cabana or In-water Covered Picnic Table for that day or plan to tube. 

Yes, Glamping Tents are numbered and reserved by number.
